Dreams Of A Life theatrical release and receives nomination from London Critic’s Circle Film Awards

Carol Morley’s Dreams Of A Life opened in theatres this weekend to huge success.

Premiered at this year’s BFI London Film Festival, both screenings sold out within a day and the film was nominated for their documentary category award, The Griersons. The film has also been nominated for Best Documentary for the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards.

Dreams Of A Life tells the sad and extraordinary true story of Joyce Vincent, a woman discovered in her flat after being dead for three years.

BBC TV dramatisation of ‘The Borrowers’ set to air on Boxing Day in the UK

We at ThinkSync have recently completed the music supervision and licensing for a BBC TV dramatisation of ‘The Borrowers’. Scheduled to air on BBC1 at 7.30pm on Boxing Day in the UK, the film stars Stephen Fry, Victoria Wood, Christopher Eccleston and Robert Sheerhan.

The first venture for Working Title TV, the one-off special is also set to air in numerous countries worldwide and be released on DVD/DTO in 2012.

‘The Borrowers’ is a fantasy adventure based on Mary Norton’s classic novel and follows a family of miniature people living under the floorboards of a house.

Real Fur to be used in Eastenders this week

We’re pleased to announce that Real Fur will be used in an upcoming episode of Eastenders. ‘Animal’ will appear in Tuesday 22nd November’s episode.

Real Fur play muscular pop: the strong, syncopated rhythms found in highlife and new wave are mixed with a sense of melody and 3-part vocal harmony. Their latest single, ‘The Fool’, was released on the 24th October.

St. Vincent AKA Annie Clark performed ‘She Is Beyond Good And Evil’ by The Pop Group as part of her set on the Jimmy Fallon show recently. Her truly unique guitar style really adds to the track, with fans also experiencing it as part of her live set recently.

Ubisoft’s Driver: San Francisco has been released to critical acclaim. One of the most hotly anticipated racing games of the year, its extensive and varied soundtrack has been getting a lot of attention, making it the forerunner in the games market at the moment.
