ThinkSync provide solutions for all musical needs both on camera and off camera; from obscure, niche playlists to huge named artists, sourcing choirs and musicians through to working on set, coordinating with all the other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations whenever music is featured.
We cater for all budgets and work on each project individually according to what is required, providing a strategic approach, working with producers to compile a music budget at preproduction stage along with curating creative playlists throughout. We source from labels and publishers worldwide and commission original scores from a wide variety of composers, ranging from experienced professionals to members of successful bands wishing to cut their teeth in a new arena. We also source, negotiate and oversee the engagement of composers.
We handle all licensing and clearance directly. We negotiate with labels and publishers on both master and publishing rights, secure the right terms for every media, territory and term, and manage the paperwork through to final cue sheets on delivery.
We also work as exclusive ‘out of house’ music supervisors for several of the leading London based trailer houses as well as freelancing with others. We have worked on a wide range of projects from production sizzles and TV promos for broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Sky through to international theatrical campaigns and everything in between.
We have a strong presence at film festivals, from our participation in discussion panels to organising symposiums and events as core segments of various festivals’ content.
