Limb featured in Series 2 of Heels

Heels is a Starz-original wrestling drama which follows brothers Jack and Ace Spade and their relationship in relation to their father’s legacy, the DWL. A look into the world of small-town wrestling, the series is all about chasing dreams as Jack tries to bring the DWL greater recognition outside their close-knit Georgia community while Ace tries to step out of his brother’s shadow.

Rising Tides by Limb appears in Episode 1 of Series 2.

Shirley Collins featured in The Change

The Change is a comedy drama starring, written and created by Bridget Christie for Channel 4.

The series follows Linda, a 50-year-old, married, working-class, mother-of-two who’s having an existential crisis prompted by the menopause. After realising how much time she’s spent doing invisible work for those around her, she jumps on her motorbike and returns to the Forest of Dean, where she spent time as a child.

The series features two songs by Shirley Collins, ‘The Cherry Tree Carol’ and ‘Adieu To Old England’.

Phantom Parrot | UK Premiere at Sheffield Doc Fest

Phantom Parrot, is a documentary film, directed by Kate Stonehill, which tells the story of a human rights activist, who is prosecuted under terror laws for refusing to hand over the passwords to his electronic devices during a border stop, unveiling unsettling questions about the rule of law, modern espionage and digital privacy.

Connie Farr and Amine Ramer were the music supervisors for the film, with original score by Nainita Desai and an original song written for the film by GAIKA.

Phantom Parrot will be premiering at Sheffield Doc Fest 2023 with two screenings on 15th & 17th June. The first screening will have an extended Q&A with Director Kate Stonehill, lead contributor Muhammad Rabbani, and lawyer Richard Parry, who represents French publisher Ernest Moret, who made international headlines when he was detained under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act in April 2023, while on his way to attend the London Book Fair.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry | In Cinemas 28th April

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, based on the book by Rachel Joyce, is about a man, in his sixties, (Academy Award Winner Jim Broadbent) who leaves his family home and wife (Penelope Wilton) and walks the length of the country, from Devon to Berwick-upon-Tweed, in order to deliver a message to a friend he has learned has been placed in a hospice.

The film is an uplifting tale of self-discovery and learning to seize the moment.

We handled the music licensing and The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry comes to cinemas on 28th April 2023.

Atari Teenage Riot featured in Wu-Tang: An American Saga

Emmy Nominated Wu-Tang: An American Saga is inspired by “The Wu-Tang Manual” and “Tao of Wu”, and based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan. Set in early ’90s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the show tracks the Clan’s formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young, black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories.

Atari Teenage Riot – Midi Junkies features in ‘Triumph’, the final episode of series 3, which is available to stream on Hulu now.

Blue Bag Life | In Cinemas 7th April

Blue Bag Life, co-directed by Lisa Selby & Rebecca Lloyd-Evans, is a raw yet deeply moving journey through the world of addiction. Unflinching in its portrayal of the darkness addicts enter into, as well as the stigma that accompanies it. Nevertheless an emotionally resonant love story that champions hope over despair.

We were the music supervisors for the film, which won the Audience Award at the BFI London Film Festival 2022.

I Hope This Helps | Trailer

I Hope This Helps is a crowd-sourced feature film documentary about mental health.

The aim of this project is to make a beautiful film that creates change: by sharing stories that help viewers through their own journey; by destigmatising mental health in society; and by inspiring new research into things that can make a difference.

It is part of ‘Mindscapes’, an international cultural programme to support a transformation in how we understand, address and talk about mental health.

Empire Design cut the trailer and we were the music supervisors. The music used is ‘Imaginations’ by ‘one to watch’ film composer, Samuel Karl Bohn.

The Strays | out now

The Strays is a British Netflix Original thriller and the debut feature of writer and director Nathaniel Martello-White. It is the fourth and final of the 2021 U.K. features greenlit by Netflix director of U.K. features, Fiona Lamptey.

Ashley Madekwe plays Neve, an upper-middle-class woman, who lives with her husband (Justin Salinger) and two children in a seemingly perfectly crafted life. It all begins to unravel when two shadowy figures arrive in her town.

We were the music supervisors for the film which features tracks such as Giggs – Talkin’ The Hardest, XVOTO – Brainfreeze, Forlorn – Forsaken, Izaiah JAE – Element.

Alec Empire featured in The Reunion

The Reunion, is a six-part drama based on the French best-selling novel by Guillaume Musso, directed by Bill Eagles (Fringe, Gotham, Pennyworth), and produced by Make It Happen Studio (No Second Chance).

The story opens in the present day, at a high school reunion in the south of France where three former friends reconnect. They grew apart and lost touch, but they are still bound by a tragic secret tied to the disappearance of a high school girl who went missing 25 years ago in the region.

‘Addicted To You’ by Alec Empire features in two episodes. The series will be available for streaming on the ITVX platform on 12th January.
