Trailer for new Idris Elba film, “Bastille Day”

ThinkSync recently placed Jamie N Commons & X Ambassadors’ “Jungle” in the UK trailer for upcoming American action film Bastille Day directed by James Watkins and written by Andrew Baldwin. The film stars Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Charlotte Le Bon, Eriq Ebouaney and José Garcia.

The plot follows a young con artist and former CIA agent as they embark on an anti-terrorist mission in France.

Triple 9 International Trailer launched

ThinkSync recently worked on the international trailer for Triple 9, which launched 11th November. Directed by John Hillcoat, it stars Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Aaron Paul and more.

A gang of criminals and corrupt cops plan the murder of a police officer in order to pull off their biggest heist yet across town.

BBC Pure Drama promo airs featuring Gravity soundtrack

We’re pleased to announce that ThinkSync worked on the BBC Pure Drama promo currently airing across the BBC network.

Featuring Suranne Jones reading the poem ‘Solitude’ by Ella Wheeler Wilcox, the music is ‘Gravity’ by Steven Price, taken from the film of the same name.

The promo includes footage from upcoming BBC drama including Sherlock, Undercover, Luther, Call the Midwife, Peaky Blinders, Doctor Who and much more.

Man Up U.S. trailer launched

The U.S. ‘domestic’ trailer for Man Up starring Simon Pegg has recently been launched.

The trailer features ‘Freakout!’ by Mini Mansions and ‘Love And Oceans’ by The Dimes, with music supervision by Think Sync Music.

The film is set for release on November 13th 2015 in the United States by Sabre Films.

ThinkSync Music is on the hunt for a new Creative Sync Manager to join our team.

ThinkSync provides a broad range of music related services to all areas of the multimedia industry ranging from film and TV to commercials and games.

You will be dealing with every sector where music meets visuals and will already have solid contacts across advertising, film, TV, games and more. You should be dynamic and work well under pressure and, as you will be dealing directly with clients, need to be outgoing, confident and focussed.

Your main day to day duties include:

• Creative music searches (working to brief pulling commercial and production music for trailers, TV show promos, sizzles, internal promo videos etc, sourcing track requests and instrumentals from labels and publishers).

• Quote requests and rigorous checking of copyright ownership

• Meeting with current and potential clients to discuss their music requirements and how we can help

• Pitching our own music catalogue (compiling and sending newsletters and updates, pitching tracks to supervisors globally for projects)

• Finding new artists and composers to add to our roster

• Liaising with our network of sub-publishers

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in any section of the media where the synchronisation of music with visuals and licensing has been part of their everyday role. We need someone with a thorough knowledge and understanding of how music is used in all kinds of media, who understands the requirements of producers, editors and film makers and can communicate effectively with them.
