Strand Releasing has acquired U.S. rights to Carol Morley’s documentary Dreams of Life, which screened at this year’s SXSW film festival. The distributor acquired the film from Entertainment One and is planning to release on August 3rd.
The film follows the case of Joyce Vincent, a 38-year-old who died in her apartment above a shopping mall in North London in 2003. Her skeleton was discovered three years later in the apartment, where the TV and heating were still on. ThinkSync’s Connie Farr music supervised the film.
The film has also recently been listed for Best Cinema Documentary in the 2012 Grierson British Documentary Awards.
Collapse Of History (Christine Remix) by Atari Teenage Riot has recently been placed in MTV’s hit show Teen Wolf.
Based on the 1985 film of the same name, the series follows Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), a high school student and social outcast who is bitten by a werewolf. Scott attempts to maintain a normal life, keeping the fact of his being a werewolf secret from everyone.
The track appears in Episode 6, airing in the US on July 2nd. For UK viewers the series will air on SkyLiving later this year.

Developed by Kadokowa Games, Lollipop Chainsaw focuses on zombie hunter and cheerleader Juliet Starling (voiced by Tara Strong in English and Eri Kitamura/Yōko Hikasa in Japanese) who fights hordes of zombies in her old High School.
The soundtrack includes artists such as MSTRKRFT, Sleigh Bells, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Dragonforce and more.

ThinkSync have placed ‘Stand By (Krafty Kuts Remix)’ by Scratch Perverts as part of the new Ridge Racer Unbounded soundtrack. Originally a hit arcade game back in 1993, the Ridge Racer franchise has grown to include over twenty titles across numerous platforms.
The soundtrack includes artists such as Skrillex, The Crystal Method and more. The game also features a selection of tracks by Hiroshi Okubo from throughout the eighteen year history of the series.

ThinkSync have successfully placed Radioactive Man’s ‘Uranium’ on a recent Sony Bravia viral. Made to promote their HX8 Bravia television, the spot features Drummond Money-Coutts, a magician performing mind-boggling tricks on the public.

The Other Cinema returns this May for its second edition and global launch with one of the most provocative, truthful and relevant films made about urban youth, LA HAINE, with a live score by Asian Dub Foundation. Screenings will premiere on the 2nd of May with a production for local residents at Broadwater Farm in Tottenham. On 4th May, the production will come to the Troxy in Limehouse and then travel to the Trianon in Paris on 5th May.
The Other Cinema network is a platform for communities across the world to set up local cinemas in communal spaces ranging from town and concert halls to libraries and churches.

‘Black Flags’ by Atari Teenage Riot has been used on the current ‘Never Stop Playing’ commercial for the PS Vita, a new handheld console by Playstation. The spot will air in the US.
