ThinkSync has recently been working with short film maker Tom Marshall on his latest project ‘Happy Clapper’ as Music Supervisor. A previous winner of our ThinkSyncFilms competition, Tom has gone on to win awards such as BBC Three’s Comedy Short Winner 2007, and the New Film Maker Award at Bristol’s Encounters Short Film Festival with his film ‘Big Boy 74′.
His current project tells the story of Marshy, a criminal living in a caravan, who encounters a Christian woman wanting him to follow in his father’s religious footsteps. It stars Joe Dempsie (Skins) and Felicity Montagu (I’m Alan Partridge; Bridget Jones’ Diary). The film is supported by Northern Film & Media and the UK Film Council.
Break My Fall is set for theatrical release in Germany on the 14th April, and will also be shown at numerous festivals across Europe, including London’s East End Film Festival.
The soundtrack, coordinated by ThinkSync, features tracks by Micachu, Plug, Alan MX, Wetdog, Numbers and more.
