The Secret Garden – Official Trailer

In the most recent movie adaptation of the beloved Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic novel of the same name, Mary Lennox is sent to live with her uncle Archibald Craven (Colin Firth) and while exploring she stumbles upon a hidden magical garden tucked away on his remote country estate. 

The Secret Garden is set for release in UK cinemas on the 10th of April 2020.

Rocks – Official Trailer

Directed by Sarah Gavron this coming-of-age British drama follows the eponymous character, Rocks, as she is forced to fend for herself and her brother, Emmanuel, after their single mother abandons them.

Having premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2019, Rocks is set for release in UK cinemas on the 10th of April 2020.

As well as supervising the music for the film, Connie Farr and Dom Farley handled the music supervision for the official trailer which features Jowaa’s “Banku Dade” and “Breathe” performed by Celeste and written by Seinabo Sey.

Guns Akimbo – Official Trailer

Directed by Jason Lei Howden and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Guns Akimbo follows the story of Miles (Radcliffe), a video game developer, who inadvertently  becomes the next participant in a real-life death match that streams online.

Trolls World Tour – International Trailer

In the sequel to the global phenomenon Trolls, Poppy (voiced by Justin Timberlake) and Branch (voiced by Justin Timberlake) discover that there are six different Troll tribes scattered across six different lands each tribe devoted to their own genre of music. When rocker troll Queen Barb sets out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save all other music from extinction.

Trolls World Tour is set for release in UK cinemas on the 20th of April, 2020.

BAFTA Nomination for Only You

Harry Wootliff, writer and director of Only You, has been nominated for a BAFTA in the category of Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer.

Following two wins at the 2019 British Independent Film Awards – Josh O’Connor winning Best Actor for his role as Jake in the film, and Harry Wootliff winning The Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director – ‘Only You’ received high praise after its release in 2019 and also featured in Mark Kermode’s Top 10 List of the Best Films of 2019.

‘Only You’ is now available to stream on Netflix.

Military Wives – Official Trailer

Thrown together by life on a military base while their partners serve on a tour of duty in Afghanistan, a group of women find an unexpected way to raise their spirits and combat the isolating realities of being an army wife – by forming the first ever Military Wives’ Choir. 

Releasing in UK cinemas on the 27th of March Military Wives is set to be the feel-good film of the year.

Emma – Official Trailer

Based on Jane Austen’s beloved comedy of the same name, the newest film adaptation of Emma follows the eponymous character as she adventures through misguided matches and romantic missteps in order to find love.

Starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Bill Nighy, Johnny Flynn, Miranda Hart and Josh O’Connor Emma is set for release in UK cinemas on the 14th of February, 2020.

Greed – Official Trailer

In this satirical cautionary tale about capitalism and greed, Steve Coogan plays a billionaire fashion designer-clothing retailer named Sir Richard McCreadie, who, in a bid to repair his public image, plans an elaborate party in Mykanos.

‘Greed’ made it’s initial premiere at TIFF and will be released in UK cinemas in February 2020. You can watch the trailer here.
