Codes In The Cloud’s ‘The Distance Between Us’ has been licensed for use on the international trailer for acclaimed actor Mark Ruffalo’s first foray into directing.
Sympathy For Delicious is an inspired and unusual film telling the story of Dean O’Dwyer (Christopher Thornton), also known as “Delicious D,” an up-and-coming DJ on the underground music scene in Los Angeles. When a motorcycle accident leaves Dean paralysed, he abandons his turntables for a wheelchair as his once promising career disappears before his eyes. The film also stars Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis.

ThinkSync Music are proud to announce that it will be hosting a number of panels and events at this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival (15-26 June).
Now in its 65th year, the EIFF is Scotland’s premier film festival, and the longest running continual film festival in the world. We’re kicking things off in style with a concert from the boys at Chemikal, followed by two seminars focusing on the relationship between music and visual media.

ThinkSync has been appointed music supervisor for award winning filmmaker Carol Morley’s new project for Film Four.
Entitled Dreams of a Life, it tells the heartbreaking tale of Joyce Vincent, a woman found dead in her bedsit. Undiscovered for an estimated three years, she was found with the television still on and Christmas presents waiting to be wrapped. Joyce is played by celebrated actor Zawa Ashton, recently picked by Screen International as one of their ‘Stars of Tomorrow’.
The documentary is funded by Film 4, Channel 4, the UK Film Council and the Irish Film Board.
Casting agent is Nina Gold (Nowhere Boy, Hot Fuzz) and editor is Chris Wyatt (‘This Is England’). Composer is Barry Adamson (The Beach, Natural Born Killers). The film will be distributed in UK/Eire via Dogwoof Films (Age Of Stupid, Food Incorporated).

brilliantlove, music supervised by ThinkSync, has had huge success on the festival circuit, being nominated for a BIFA, and being shown as far away as Buenos Aires. It’s also become the first film ever to be voted back to Newcastle’s Tyneside Cinema by the public (beating films such as ‘Back to the Future’, ‘The King’s Speech’ and many more…)
Distributed by IFC and Soda Pictures, it is set for DVD release on the 17th May.

ThinkSync has recently been working with short film maker Tom Marshall on his latest project ‘Happy Clapper’ as Music Supervisor. A previous winner of our ThinkSyncFilms competition, Tom has gone on to win awards such as BBC Three’s Comedy Short Winner 2007, and the New Film Maker Award at Bristol’s Encounters Short Film Festival with his film ‘Big Boy 74′.
His current project tells the story of Marshy, a criminal living in a caravan, who encounters a Christian woman wanting him to follow in his father’s religious footsteps. It stars Joe Dempsie (Skins) and Felicity Montagu (I’m Alan Partridge; Bridget Jones’ Diary). The film is supported by Northern Film & Media and the UK Film Council.
Break My Fall is set for theatrical release in Germany on the 14th April, and will also be shown at numerous festivals across Europe, including London’s East End Film Festival.
The soundtrack, coordinated by ThinkSync, features tracks by Micachu, Plug, Alan MX, Wetdog, Numbers and more.
